CASE SiteWatch Telematics Gets A Compatibility Upgrade
CASE Construction Equipment, a global manufacturer of forestry and construction machinery, recently updated its SiteWatch telematics offering to support the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) 2.0/ISO-15143-3 standard, which covers telematics data relative to earth-moving machinery and mobile road construction machinery.
Automatic Telematics
CASE’s SiteWatch telematics offering is one of the primary components of the company’s ProCare suite, which is a dealer-supported add-on that also provides machine owners and operators with extended after-sale support and warranty coverage. Needless to say, it’s a popular option for CASE’s customers.
Why Does AEMP 2.0 Compatibility Matter?
The new AEMP 2.0 compatibility is important because it takes the critical information about any CASE machine’s real-time whereabouts and performance, and puts it into a standardized format that makes it visible to third-party applications. With this update, fleet operators who use machines manufactured by a variety of vendors, all with different telematics offerings, can use a single AEMP 2.0-compatible interface to view the CASE machine data, as well as data from other vendors’ AEMP 2.0-compatible machines. This leads to streamlined operations for fleet operators, lets them keep up on scheduled maintenance tasks, and generally stay better informed about the status of their equipment no matter where it is.
An Enhanced Experience
CASE equipment owners looking to take advantage of the new AEMP API mode can do so by tapping into the CASE SiteWatch web portal. The company has been steadily updating SiteWatch to make it easier to use and more functional. For instance, SiteWatch now lets you view more information about your machine’s fuel consumption, idle times, engine load, and speed, at a variety of intervals. Best of all, CASE SiteWatch still costs the same.
If you’re in the market for new or used CASE equipment, you’ll find wide variety of CASE construction equipment for sale on MachineryTrader.com and CASE forestry equipment on ForestryTrader.com.
