Hablamos Español HYDRAULIC THUMB AVAILABLE HYDRAULIC PIN GRABBER ADDITIONAL BUCKETS AVAILABLE 2026 Hitachi ZX345USLC-7 Excavator – Ultrashort Tail-Swing Powerhouse The ZX345USLC-7 is a medium-large excavator designed for tight sites. A 6-cyl. Isuzu 6HK1X Tier 4 Final engine delivers 249 hp (186 kW) and uses a variable-geometry turbocharger and common-rail injection. Hitachi’s TRIAS II three-pump hydraulic system supplies two 62 gpm and one 55 gpm main pumps plus a pilot pump, and operators can choose ECO, Power or High-Performance modes and adjust attachment/arm speeds from the monitor. Despite its ultrashort swing radius, the 79,366 lb (36,000 kg) machine offers 45,411 lbf bucket breakout force, a 24 ft 10 in (7.57 m) dig depth and a 36 ft 10 in (11.22 m) reach. Key Specifications Engine - Isuzu 6HK1X diesel; net 249 hp (186 kW) at 1,900 rpm; 6-cyl.; Tier 4 Final Hydraulics - TRIAS II three-pump system; 2 × 62 gal/min + 55 gal/min main flow; 9.2 gal/min pilot flow; relief 4,974.8 psi (34.3 MPa) Max digging depth - 24 ft 10 in (7.57 m) Max reach on ground - 36 ft 10 in (11.22 m) Bucket breakout - 45,411 lbf (202 kN) bucket force; 32,372 lbf (126 kN) arm crowd Operating weight - 79,366 lb (36,000 kg) Features - Durable chassis: Heat-treated pins, dirt-sealed rollers and grease-type track adjusters with recoil springs support an X-frame undercarriage. A D-section upper frame resists deformation and the boom ends are strengthened with bushings and improved idler sealing. - Hydraulic performance: The TRIAS II system optimizes flow to boom, arm and swing. ECO, Power and HP modes and precision function control let operators match power to the task and adjust attachment or boom priority. Auto-idle and shut-down reduce fuel use. - Comfortable cab: The ROPS/FOPS cab is larger and quieter with more headroom. An air-suspension seat moves with the console, and an 8-in anti-glare monitor manages machine functions and Bluetooth audio. Ergonomically grouped controls, a smartphone holder, cup holder, storage and increased legroom reduce fatigue. - Safety & visibility: A standard Aerial Angle system provides a 270° view. Multiple cameras offer six selectable views. LED work lights, reflective strips and improved wipers and sunshades enhance visibility. Optional cab guards and hose rupture valves boost protection. - Easy servicing: The monitor displays maintenance intervals, and oil and coolant levels can be checked from the seat. An inner air-filter element protects the engine during cleaning; sealed filters keep dust from the air-conditioning unit. Fuel (100.3 gal) and hydraulic (66.3 gal) capacities support long workdays. Conclusion The ZX345USLC-7 combines a short tail swing with high breakout force and versatile hydraulics, making it ideal for digging, material handling and demolition in confined areas. Its roomy cab and modern safety systems keep operators productive, while durable construction and simplified maintenance suit construction, roadwork and rental fleets. *All financing terms and sales pricing are handled directly through Kitsap Tractor and Equipment, please contact the dealer for more information.
