Electronic dial type throttle control allows the operator to quickly adjust engine speed, and the automatic engine idle feature will reduce engine speed to low idle automatically should the machine idle more than several seconds. Peace of Mind The safe start system requires the safety lockout lever be in the raised position in order to start the excavator ensuring hydraulic functions are inactive at start-up. The boom holding valve and overload alarm are designed to keep the boom from dropping if there is a sudden loss in pressure, and the overload alarm will sound (when ON) if you exceed hydraulic capacity.
