The 4700B has a 60-by-37.5-inch feed opening, giving operators room to load bulky wood and clearing debris. Its pinned rotor is intended for higher-impact applications, while the finished material size depends on the grate setup, feed material, moisture, and operating conditions. Replacement grinder tips are also available for ongoing wear maintenance.
Recent work includes eight new rotor pins, new Cat turbos, a new half-inch compression-housing liner, new infeed-wheel saw bars, and a new fuel tank. The mill wear plates remain in good condition. Fluids and filters were serviced on July 27. Oil-sample results showed normal levels and are available upon request. A certified mechanic inspected the machine on July 14 and reported no issues; the report is available upon request.
