Description
The Caterpillar BP115C Pickup Broom is a heavy-duty hydraulic pickup broom designed for skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, compact wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, integrated toolcarriers, and other compatible Cat machines. It is built to sweep, collect, and contain dirt, rock, snow, gravel, and other debris in an integrated hopper, making it well suited for cleanup and surface-maintenance applications. The BP115C collects swept material directly into its hopper, allowing the operator to transport the debris and dump it without requiring a separate collection process. The approximately 0.5 yd³ hopper provides good capacity for extended sweeping cycles. The 60-inch working width provides an effective combination of maneuverability and productivity, making the broom suitable for parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, streets, construction sites, and industrial surfaces. The large 26-inch brush is designed for aggressive sweeping and material pickup. The standard brush configuration uses replaceable polypropylene and steel-wire sections, while all-polypropylene and all-steel-wire replacement brush options are also available. Bristle-height adjustment allows the operator to maintain proper brush contact as the brush wears, helping maximize cleaning performance and brush life. Cat uses a handle and tool-less locking arrangement to simplify adjustment. The adjustable volumizer helps retain more material inside the hopper, allowing the operator to make more passes before stopping to empty the broom. Interior deflectors, a rear bucket seal, and side brush stripping help direct dirt and debris into the hopper while reducing spillage and airborne contaminants. An optional water sprinkler/dust-control kit is available for applications where airborne dust needs to be minimized.
