Description
This Caterpillar D5 cable plow with a Cat 3306 diesel engine, powershift transmission, and CRC plow equipment. This is a clean, low-time tractor with an undercarriage reported at 95% or better.
The D5 is a crawler tractor suited for underground utility installation. A cable plow setup can help contractors install cable with minimal excavation, reducing ground disturbance and the amount of restoration work required after installation.
The Cat 3306 engine and powershift transmission make this an option worth considering for contractors looking for a used machine for utility work or other compatible applications. With the correct blade, it could also be used as a small dozer.
Priced at $22,500, this machine is available from Sunrise Equipment in Canton, Ohio. Contact us for additional photos, more information, or to discuss the machine’s condition and availability.
