Caterpillar 936F articulated wheel loader in the 27,000 lb class, built around the mechanical Cat 3304 DIT engine at about 140 hp, with no DPF, DEF, or electronic aftertreatment to maintain. It has a countershaft powershift transmission with four speeds forward and four reverse, four-wheel drive, caliper disc brakes, and pressure-compensated loader hydraulics on a sealed Z-bar linkage for strong breakout and fast bucket cycles. It runs 2.5 to 3.25 yd general-purpose buckets on 20.5-25 rubber. It is suited for truck loading, stockpile work, aggregate and yard duty, and general site work.
