About Morbark

Founded in 1957 in a Michigan blacksmith shop by sawmill operator Norval Morey, Morbark continues to grow its presence in the forestry industry today. In addition to its own impressive machinery innovations, the company acquired Boxer Equipment’s mini skid steer lineup in 2012, and more recently, it acquired product lines from forestry equipment manufacturers DENIS CIMAF and Rayco. Today, Morbark employs 450 workers, and manufactures equipment for the forestry and biomass, recycling, tree care, land clearing and road maintenance, sawmill, and municipal industries.

Product Lineup

Morbark’s portfolio includes towed and self-propelled wood chippers, tracked and wheeled stump grinders, tub grinders, horizontal grinders, slow-speed shredders, mulchers, mulcher head attachments, debarkers and other sawmill equipment, and wheeled feller bunchers. The company also sells drum chippers, flails, brush chippers, and its Chiparvestor line of whole-tree chippers. Other products include front- and boom-mounted land-clearing attachments for excavators, skid steers, forestry tractors, motor graders, and other vehicles. Additionally, the firm sells dedicated hydraulic power packs to augment its accessory attachments.
