Log loaders are used to load and unload logging trucks, and sometimes to transport felled logs to a landing area for loading or further processing. Truck log loaders, which are sometimes referred to as “grapple trucks,” are somewhat unique because some of them offer an all-in-one solution where the hydraulic grapple and boom combination is situated either just behind the cab or at the back of the chassis and is then used to load logs onto the truck, or unload them.
