About Tigercat

Brantford, Ontario, equipment manufacturer Tigercat started out making wheeled, drive-to-tree feller bunchers in 1992. The process began with exhaustive field research in the Southeastern United States and resulted in the Tigercat 726, a feller buncher that was more robust and reliable than the competition of the time. The immediate success of the 726 demonstrated Tigercat’s high regard for customer feedback and satisfaction. Today, Tigercat has more than 1,300 employees, 10 locations in Ontario, a parts and training facility in Georgia, and a parts, sales, and service location in Sweden.

The company also manufactures harvesting heads, felling heads, and mulching heads, as well as articulated off-highway trucks, prime movers, and utility vehicles.
